DENVER (AP) - Authorities say two people killed when a plane crashed in Colorado were a woman from Texas and the pilot. Four members of the woman's family were injured.
Routt County Coroner Rob Ryg identified the victims Monday as 44-year-old Gabbi Humpal of Corpus Christi, Texas, and 75-year-old Hans Vandervlugt of Refugio, Texas, who was the pilot.
Ryg says Humpal's 10-year-old daughter Sarah suffered critical injuries and was being flown to a Denver hospital.
Ryg says Gabbi Humpal's husband and two sons suffered broken bones and bruises and their injuries weren't considered life-threatening. They were identified as 47-year-old Scott Humpal, 18-year-old Tad and 13-year-old Dillon, all from Corpus Christi.
The twin-engine Cessna 414A crashed in a snowstorm Sunday at an airport in Hayden. An investigation is under way.
