Here are Monday night's area high school baseball finals.
St. Joseph lost on opening night at El Campo, 8-1. Justin Oliver was the losing pitcher, going four innings, giving up two runs while striking out three. Jarrett Ortmann had an RBI single for the Flyers' only run, as they were limited to three hits.
East lost on opening night at Lamar Consolidated, 7-2. John Garcia was the losing pitcher. Titan RBI's by Dylan Rab and Tim Gleinser.
